the Behringer Ultra Metal UM300 creates some crunchy spikes and harmonic discontinuities (generally this is a bad thing for a pedal).

Those ugly crunchy spikes and harmonic discontinuities can be exploited for delay experimentation, because the repetitions of those discrete mistakes

may accent the delay effect.

This is all.

Test the good pedals I wrote at first.

I bought the fine pedals at first before experimenting with the inferior.

I don't use behringer for recordings. I buy many pedals just to test them. I use HERMIDA AUDIO TIKI DRIVE, COLORSOUND OVERDRIVER in low gain (throbak made a copy of it) also BLACK MAGIC CRAZY TUBE CIRCUITS , JAM PEDALS TUBEDREAMER 72, and MERCURY ONERR on my guitar, EP BOOSTER XOTIC USA on my bass. I have 133 stomp boxes just as a collection.

I gave you the full names of the good pedals.

I use also the Behringer Ultra Metal UM300 which is great for thrash and solos,

but very neutral.

The Homebrew Electronics FULL METAL JACKET

has more character - and it' s warmer (the low frequencies sound better)

if you use the Behringer Ultra Metal UM300 for solo, you should use a soft delay

because some hi freqs sound better with delay soft effects,

but with the Homebrew Electronics FULL METAL JACKET

I use less delay for solos because the sound is more "round" (harmonic)

I am a designer the external design is superetarded ugly the sound is DIVINE!!! is on my top 2 - the other one is the DM4 Distortion Modeler Overview | Line 6 you must buy Homebrew Electronics FULL METAL JACKET because the line 6 has different sound (more hi color) but the Homebrew JACKET has a warmer sound I wouldn't imagine me without this pedal! I also have the tc electronic NOVA DRIVE - but it rocks if you use it simultaneously with your amp distortion
