'She Loves You' was recorded in '63. This sounds like a Rickenbacker 12 string to me..
The second Rick 12 string ever made was presented to George Harrison before one
of the Ed Sullivan gigs. That was Feburary '64. Still sounds great to me though!!!!!!!!

Please! These heavyhanded, stomping chords don´t even come close to Lennon´s fluently, driving chord progression. And, (as usual with todays Beatles "covers"), the guitar is distorted, while Lennons Rickenbacker jangles clear and beautiful.
So: Try to use upstrokes also and ditch the dist!
