I got a 320GB HD for my PS3 and it's almost full. You can also watch downloaded DivX movies too. The PS3 rocks.

i dont get y evryone sais the slim is sooo light and ssooo good arent u just gonna put it next to your tv and play on it?? i mean its not like ppl are gonna move their ps3 slims around all the time

@carloos360 Pretty much the exact samt consol imo, the fat one sounds less and looks better so i'm buying the original.

You shouldn't use a 7200RPM because it can have compatibility problems.

All the hardware is the same so ull get the same performance from both systems the only difference is the HDD which is obviously faster on the slim model, but if u want faster load times don't buy a slim. You can upgrade your HDD to a Western Digital 500GB for $100.

Slim comes with 2.76, not 3.00. Later on as they make more Slims they will include newer firmwares.

I can easily see someone wanting a 500GB hard drive. I use 320's and am using over 200GB. I store a lot of pictures/videos, not just game stuff on my PS3's.
