Discovery Channel's documentary entitled "Two Weeks in Hell", which is an overview of the Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) course at Camp Mackall, North Carolina. I own no rights. Those all belong to Discovery. I own no rights. Those all belong to Discovery. Note: sorry if you have to search seperately for each subsequent part. Trying to fix that.

Update: Anyone who wants to know the true origin of the US Special Forces and Canadian JTF2 and CSOR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil%27s_Brigade

Thank you. The prescursor unit to our GBs was NOT trained or "shaped up" by Royal Marines. I did a report on the book and film as part of NCOPD once, and had only recently been reminded of it thanks to this pompous ass that's been posting moronic claims to this video.

Additional: if your aim is purely to act a fool and incite arguments, look for another video or series of videos. I am tired of it, and have already begun simply blocking morons rather than trying to argue with them. The next step will be to knock people offline for a few days. Roll the dice if you want to.

  • u put alot of sweat and blood into training to become a green beret

  • Haven't read the former comments, but U can't apply before serving in some other unit. Is this right? Met 2 Green Berets Officers in French Guyana. We were loaded in the "foyer".

  • These guys are insane. You have to love the men and women who serve our country, they literally go through hell. I recently saw the documentary "Hell and Back Again". What an amazing film. Really shows you what life is like for a marine serving in Afghanistan, both overseas and once he gets home injured from a bullet to the hip. hellandbackagain. com/

  • @dwgangsat Suppose so ,but my personal preference is the Green berets

  • @GoodOldCameron so in other words we agree that neither are better, right?

  • @dwgangsat Exactly you said it your self, they both have the same capabilities

  • @david004alpha neither.....they have different roles...

  • @GoodOldCameron ok and.....the Green Berets have a different role then the SEALs....the SEALs usually do Direct Action/Recon Operations and the Special Forces usually do Unconventional Warfare....yes they have much of the same capabilities but they have different roles....

  • Who's the best?? The Navy Seals or the Green Berets???

  • @dwgangsat If you think about it no they don't have different roles, they're both trained to operate behind enemy lines, they're both trained in many ways of insertion, they're both trained in guerrilla warfare, they're both trained in reconnaissance, and are both designed to go into theater before the main force.

The only real difference is that the SEALs are trained as frogmen.
