45 days (6 weeks) is far too early to remove a puppy from the mother and litter. It is of critical importance for them to stay with mom and litter until at least 8 weeks. Yes, those last 2 weeks count. By taking them early, they will often have serious behavioral problems.

@summerdaeshaune my mom just bought a chihuahua pup from a breeder and she is 6 weeks and has all her shots she eats regular puppy food and is really playfull and she loves it here. so i believe its fine to take them away but i agree to they should be with there moms maybe a tiny bit longer but it just depends

I cannot belive how many people live to find a vid about anything they know or can google a little bit of info about & just start fights for no reason, telling someone that 5 years ago they shouldnt have taken a pup that was 6weeks old is not going to change it & will not educate that person it is clearly just trying to start a fight, I c everything from 6-15 weeks on this page & not 1 of these means more than my vets opinion (which was 10weeks if it had a good home but 6 was ok since it didnt)

Spay that dog. And you shouldn't keep her tied up by her neck. That can cause her trachea to collapse and kill her. buy a tieout harness with that money you got from her pups and spay her

jeesh 6 weeks is almost right if they can eat solids then its ok
