So you think it's a coincidence that the biggest changes were in the bride and groom then their close family and then their friends. Seems like a pretty strong corrolation between how well people know them and how their blood changes. It looks like any interference is pretty negligable.

The blood test obviously interferes with people's reaction to the wedding, or at least invalidates their results.

hanga73, Yes, a funeral study would be interesting. Probably, depression symptoms might be observed.
A similar study of people in their work environment might be insightful too!
