I like this video. I guess the VA was right to say it's good to hear other people with ptsd talk about it because every video I watch on it at least gives me some peace of mind if even for a brief period. My own ptsd has been like walking around with a giant boulder hovering over my head and the only person that can see it is of course me... so if I talk about it... civilians just look at me like I'm crazy... and I'm sick of being called crazy...

@loquaciouskook Thanks, Liana. I always opt for charm over belligerence. It works far better for me. I have to play to my strengths, although I can shriek with the best of them. :-D

I'm grateful that you're willing to share your insight, Lisa, and I think that the way you have of doing that -- straightforward and uncompromising but not belligerent or unreasonable -- helps people to understand better.
