Just because the guy sounds too dumb to tie his own laces it may be the dog is highly trained and this is real. This kind of training may be useful in TV and film performances.

My dog always knows who's outside our house. If the postman parks she barks, if our neighbours bark she barks but if one of my family parks she's silent. She can also do the standard tricks like sit, left paw, right paw ect. She knows her left and right which I think's pretty clever :P

The dog's name is Skidboot and he died a little while ago, but there's truckloads of videos of him on Youtube showing him do this trick and others, in different situations. (including on the Oprah Winfrey show and on a few news reports). He also did performances in schools. So although there might be a lot of fake stuff on the internet, this isn't one of them - the conspiracy theorists can check it out for themselves!

The debate isn't whether the internet is fully of fake stuff the debate is this fake.
If it had the audio added afterwards why didnt he say "Back up. Sit" "Back up. Sit".
