2008 Honda Accord Coupe vs. 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe

Then Honda crashed Nissan's party with the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe. The 2008 Honda Accord Coupe brought us an epiphany. As we said sarcastically when we first drove it, "An Accord coupe can do your income taxes. If you need a root canal, Accord coupe is your car...but humpin' and pumpin' is not an Accord coupe's strong suit." And yet we realized that this isn't the Accord coupe we remember — it's fun. The Accord coupe proves that Honda knows how to put some life into a car built from a sedate sedan.

Nissan should've made the Maxima, which is considered more of a sport sedan, a coupe. That would've been a way better match. I have no idea why Nissan decided to make the family sedan Altima a coupe instead?? C'mon Nissan, you just let Honda beat you in a performance challenge.. that's embarrasing

Edmund's InsideLine has been producing reviews and road tests for years.

To say that they are working with Honda to show that the Accord is a better performer than the Altima is ridiculous. I respect your love of what you own and drive, but results are results.

i like the Accord coupe and sedan better than the Atima, also the interior is better too. now there are more competitors like the redesign Sonata, Optima, now the 2013 Fusion which looks even better, tomorrow we will see the 2013 Accord coupe concept. im waiting to see what Honda is going to do to make the Accord top of the heat again

BOTH cars also have outdated body styles. Also keep in mind this videp was made b4 the the redesigned optima and the sonata both of which are significantly lower riding cars but still competitors.

Don't be so sure on that corolla u wanna buy.. I have 1 an it's a piece of shit.. Mine is a 09.. I don't dog the car.. Drop the gears.. Race the car.. Etc... An this corolla is a money pit.. Done replaces the battery 3 times.. The alternator 2 times.. Water pump once.. Oil pump once and now my timing chain tensioner is going bad.. It's makin my engine start dry after a fuel hrs.. Wut a waste.. I'll be paid off in 3 months.. Woo.. Cars just ain't made like back in the days
