Dumas Walker was the man at the beginning shooting the marble across the pool table. He owned the first package store in Tennessee at the KY/TN border. You will notice the word "Metcalfe" on the drum and other areas. The Headhunters were from Metcalfe County, Kentucky which is dry. When they say "Let's all drive DOWN to Dumas Walker's" they are talking about driving from Metcalfe County through Monroe County, Kentucky to Moss County, Tennesse which is the closet place that sells beer legally.

The Kentucky Headhunters' band member Doug Phelps, the song refers to a retailer and world class marbles champion named "Dumas" from Moss, Tennessee who owned a "package" shop near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line, close to Annie Hanrahan's place. The shop sold "beer, snacks [and] fireworks" and was "part of the Kentucky boys' lives growing up
