  • torches to Bethlehem and torches t a star as well

  • I used to sing this in Ledbury church choir as a kid back in the 1970's. It's still today my favourite all time Carol. Just for information its by John Joubert, (He may still be alive) and is simply called "Torches!"

This version is waay too slow - it should be sung with far greater gusto!

  • Really good, i liked it.

  • its supposed to be really energetic the first portion but contrasting in dynamics in the second portion.

  • nice, the song is a meant to be like a lullaby, isnt it? you guys hav reached that

  • The conductor for the choir I belong to would have a fit if he saw this. He always wants us to sing this as if we were rum-swiggin' Vikings or something, very quick and energetic. xD

But this sounds quite lovely. I greatly enjoy doing this song.

  • i <3 this song
