26 known victims, mostly sex-trade workers and drug addicts.
They were mothers,sisters,aunts,friends. They were people he took advantage of and killed for pleasure.

The rally that we conducted for the appeal tallied more than 78 women. It sickens me to hear about these women refered to as prostitutes. They were mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts...they were loved and they are loved still. The media portrays them a Picton's victims, they had identities that should have nothing to do with them. The treatment of native women in this country is revolting, but the violence against them is systemic. We should celebrate their strength....

God is not going to bless this man for being wicked.. even though they are not living right, and it is bad enough they abuse themselves (assuming they are prostitutes and drug adicts).. it does not give anyone a right to take their lives.. this guy should recieve the death penalty for his crimes and seek Gods forgivness...

really how do you say how sorry you are for all the victoms .... all you assholes who want to judge them & say they were just whores should realize that at one time they were just like any other wonderfull little girl just the apple of her Daddy's eye then fate stepped in & really screwed up her chances I feel so much better about these victoms than about you ... you had a choice. you could have been understanding & realized they never wanted to end up this way but you chose to judge

The people we should be pointing the fingers at are the dealers...for some their first try at crack wasn't the last and were addicted off the bat, others took years and ultimatly it takes it's toll..
