I discovered this death metal titan in '93. This is still one of my all-time favourites. Bolt Thrower is one of the best in the genre, musically and stylistically. They don't concentrate on individual bodies, guts and gore. Bolt Thrower presents huge battles and entire wars, the horror and honour of war, the gravity and power of war.

This album is a masterpiece. Crude, raw production...but full of power and merciless devastation. Conan The Barbarian listens to this when he fights in the pit...
