The day Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 died

A few years ago the Northern Command, NORTHCOM was formed within the Defense Department (previously known as The War Department). This group was formed to handle domestic situations involving terrorism with a force of about 2,000. As reported by The Washington Post and reprinted in The Dallas Morning News, President Bush authorized the strength of this group to increase to 20,000 by 20111. Part of their responsibility would be to confront domestic civil unrest. This responsibility belongs to the local authorities, police, state police, and perhaps the individual state National Guard as authorized by the respective governors. This new mission by federal troops is a clear violation of the Posse Cmitatus Act of 1878.

Easy to hold President Bush solely responsible, however something sinister is at work here. With less than 60 days left in office why would President Bush issue such an authorization? He must know that on January 20th, 2009 when President Obama takes office, he would not rescind this executive order. There is something suspicious going on here where our two party system and representative democracy is nothing but a façade.

Dec.1 08 posted, now Dec 15th 2011 the senate and congress passed NDAA bill 1867 section 1031 over riding the Bill of Rights ratified Dec15,1791 thus voiding the 220 years of lives blood sweat and tears, voiding the Posse Comitatus Law 1878 mean while a fraudulent president keeps America in suspense if he will sign the bill or not though reports of a veto have been dismissed in all likely hood it is probable he will, sign the bill still the drum of anticipation rolls as the potus plays golf !!!

USC Tital 18, part 1, chapter 57, s/s 1385. also known as the Posse Cumitatus act boes not is fact say that the US millitary cannot be used fir civial law enforsment. I never did.

What it says is that anyone who uses any part of the millitary as part of a posse shall be fined and/or jailed as a court deams approprit.

What this means is that the millitary can be used for law enforsment, but not by state or local authorities.

The US Military works only for the US goverment. And no one else.
