In the mid-nineties I was working in Internet technology for Tribune Company and got a request from WGN-TV to explain how this new fangled e-mail thing worked for a segment on the Bozo show. I assumed I would be talking to a producer and they would work it into the show. We set up a meeting and they showed up at my office with a full camera crew to actually FILM me and my explanation. I had no script (it shows) and had no idea what to do with my hands (it shows).
Looking back I wish I had written a script so I would have been more clear, but I am sure the kids didn't notice my rambling.
I never saw this thing run on Bozo but I did get calls from friends every time it ran, giving me a hard time. It probably ran 10 times over a couple of years.
Note the old technology - modem, my crappy old laptop, AOL!, and of course, my bad haircut.
aha i remember this still have it on my dvd
