On vehicles with automatic transmissions it is impossible to turn the key to "lock" with the shifter in anything but "park" unless you break that safety mechanism. I've seen some standard shift cars with a button or a release you have to actuate to put it into "lock"
If you stop that suddenly on the highway you have just created an extremely hazardous situation because even with proper following distance traffic behind may not be able to stop in time to avoid a high speed rear end colission

Sounds like a Toyota hater in this clip, making toyota look bad.

You don't have to jam the breaks and make a sudden stop. If you are not out of control and are able to slow yourself gradually you can. Goign into Neutral does not make you stop suddenly. Besides,a little fender bender is better than dying in a fiery wreck.

This guys hilarious when he said "To shut off this car you'd have to read the manual!" omg I was rolling! then he's like "These cars today probably don't even HAVE neutral" omg so true lmao

About going into neutral, what if there are cars behind you and around you. You can't just stop like that without causing an accident

Are Americans really this stupid?

I just can't understand why everything must be done by electronics and computers. Gaspedals did stuck in old days also, but at least you were able to shut down the engine! I absolutely hate cars of today!

If you can't find neutral, you shouldn't be driving...
