So my rescued Tibetan Spaniel is because of hideous assholes like you lot. Shame on all of you. My rescue may have crossed eyes, a massive underbite but she's more intelligent than you savages, and far more sensitive and respectful of creation than any of you lowlifes. I'd like to critique you lot on the human form. Pathetic people. Because of pompous showpricks like you people, little dogs like mine get drowned or thrown on the dump while you pricks compare snouts and shapes. Your disgusting.

All Tibbies are wonderful, it doesn't matter if they are show quality. It's their personality that makes them special and if they are show quality, that is just an added bonus. Not all Tibbie owners show their dogs. I have pet and show Tibbies.

The are lovely looking dog. Its a shame that now in 2012 many of the kennel clubs are reviewing their standards as they are cruel to breed animals who cant breath and have other severe deformaties because they are the 'standard'. Anyone who think its smart to breed a dog who cant breath just cause it looks pretty is an idiot.

I can see many problems that may come from this standard which isnt very good for a dogs health.

I have 2 girls of this breed,one of which is show quality and the other isn't,the show quality one is more rare than non show which is what's more common for all dog breeds,that doesn't mean you love them less or anything negative at all.I have a lhapsa apso too and she's beautiful and could be show worthy but I just don't wan't to show.My point is love your dog and if you have children love them even more,if people loved children like they do dogs,we all would benefit,it makes a happy future.

@TheCarpetG .. haha,that being said what if your crazy self decided to get a new dog because yours passed away,would you adopt just any breed?What if you were a hunter and were looking for specific's or a property/establishment owner and wanted a guard dog?There are distinct characteristic's that A:describe the breed visually and B:describe the potential for disposition and when your spending a couple of grand you wan't specific's and health.Pure breeds are just that animals bred to be specific

What this video is talking about is called the Breed Standard of what this breed should look like and act like. If each dog breed didn't have a "Standard" then no breed would be recognizable. There wouldn't be any breeds, and when you bought a puppy you'd have no idea what it would look or behave like as an adult. The one negative commentor of this video is a bitter, unknowledgable person who should keep her opinions to herself.

I have two tibbies and they look quite different from each other and have different personalities, but they are a fabulous and beautiful breed. They are ALL acceptable and exceptional.
