Ntimama opposes compensation of Mau settlers

Heritage minister William Ole Ntimama has warned the government against compensating settlers in the Mau forest complex, saying it will set a dangerous precedence. Ntimama is also claiming that there is a new exodus into the forest, by people who are anticipating to reap from the states compensation package.

Ntimama is right! Let us not play double standards because even recently we saw old mamas who were evicted from some forest in Nyeri crying for Lucy Kibaki to come to their aid!!! Arent they Kenyans like any other...or is it because they are Kikuyus so they dont deserve compensation???? Its painful! Stupid and regretable that people like Uhuru Kenyatta should be talking about compensation when the Kenyatta family owns hundreds of hectares in RV!!! Why cant he give up some for these people???????

Even the church elders and their flocks have thought of one or more things about the environment. What then do we have to do with these political busybodies who are busy spreading malice and building political capital at the expense of our environment. Ole is acting like the Egyptians here over the Nile waters...nobody upstream can fool with the Nile River! It's the closest you can come to a declaration of war against the Pharoah! Same thinking should be applied in Mau!
