@rareisalive They aren't actually German, that's just a common belief. Yes, Victoria married a German, and Edward married a Dane, but both George V and George VI married British women, Prince Phillip is part British and Diana was British and Catherine is British so there's enough British blood in them to last till William's (theoretical) child. They are all all brought up British anyway, so they're British.

@rareisalive actually the royal family is descended from the actual inhabitants of Roman Britannia there more British than most of the families in England,and they still hold the powers of head of the church and the military. Its also the Queens government she appoints the house of lords she appoints the prime minister and if she doesn't like what her government is doing she can dissolve parliament and create a new one, the government acts on her behave she reigns over her people.
