2008 - HO City (Model 1/87) with Faller Car system (Herpa) Modelbau Maquette

It took me weeks to build this city. You can visit http://1981vdb.free.fr/ to see how i build the city, including the firetruck which you will never find in a shop! It's a unique piece, with 12 LEDs! The 300 figures were handpainted mostly by me, and the building were built and painted by me. The cars are not radio controlled, they follow a metal line hidden under the road. the magic is in a magnet! Enjoy and don't hesitate to ask me questions or/and leave comments! This city was destroyed in november 2008 and sold in parts on ebay (reason: i had to move to a small flat).

how did you make the streets? i love your detail. im making a gundam stopmotion series. (basically war with giant robots) unfortuanlty im new to set building. maybe you could check out my stuff that i make on a tight budget and pass a few pointers????

Beautiful, I love Herpa, their models are so small and detailed, the last one I got was a tiny yellow Z3, can't get them here in Toronto... :(
