I would give my liver for Pete's autograph, but I can't get one cause I don't live in England...and I bet that those persons don't know a damn thing about The Who!!! Pete is my idol and if I had the opportunity to meet him and ask his autograph I would surely the happiest people in the word...but this guys in the video....bah...

@qdog568 I know and it makes me sick! I met him up in NYC at the same exact spot. I have been a fan for decades. I had a very rare Pete Townshend solo record. He was extremely gracious, signed my record and was a complete gentleman! The people rushed him right away and hit him with stacks of records and photos to sign and he took it all in stride. I love the man and he was very kind to me speaking with me as he signed stacks of records. My album is in a frame on my wall not on ebay.
Actually you are somewhat right. Some of the items that were signed there do end up on ebay, under CHARITY sellers names. One of the most prominent being United Firefighters Of America where 100% of the proceeds goes to help get equipment for volunteer firefighters. Some of the youth out there getting autographs are from the Bronx and could certainly be doing worse things with their lives than getting autographs. On this, we do agree.

That's not true. Got to see Townshend throwing his guitars across the stage at Mohegan Sun last tour and Daltry whipping that microphone around. They don't make bands like they used to.
