Not bad but training slow doesn't mean you are developing slow twitch muscles. Its all about intention. Heavy squats work wonders for explosiveness. Max strength is key for start speed. Check out the squatter on my page. He has quite the first step even though his squat is slow. Could be a lot better, but as his strength goes up the weights move faster and so will he. Its physics.
