16b Inauguration of Rachel Corrie's street in Ramallah.mpg

On Day 16 (March 16, 2010) Ashira was supposed to attend the inauguration of a street in Ramallah in the name of Rachel Corrie and which Rachel's parents were attending. But Ashira got stuck in the middle of clashes in Jerusalem with her Palestine TV cameraman, Khalil. Her Sleepless in Gaza crew was waiting for her at the Ramallah even...t and could not make it down to Jerusalem due to the complete closure on the city. I can't believe what evil things I've read here & there about Rachel & her fight against injustice & Israel injustice in particular, people calling her a 'terrorist's friend' or giving her the title of Holy Pancake Rachel Corrie ....poor poor people whose minds are twisted and blinded by hate

It is soo moving to see people like Rachel and her family, it is so moving to find out there is people in the states feel that way about the Palestinians. May Allah bless her heart and soul. Rachel will always live in our hearts.
