Funk Salad: Live and at Rehearsal

Popular Wellington (NZ) covers band, Funk Salad - featuring vocalist April Phillips - are seen here playing their infectious mix of soul, funk and disco party-dance music at various gigs and rehearsals during 2009. Some clips feature original band members Phil McLaughlin (guitar) and Hugh Costello (keyboards) to whom we remain indebted for their considerable part in forming and developing the band. For the geeks out there, the band was filmed by Lynda Beckham using a Canon MiniDV MV800i camera.
The footage was edited using Apple's iMovie HD and cut and synchronised to a pre-recorded studio sound track which was then re-mixed in GarageBand. Graphic elements were created and optimized for video in Photoshop CS.
All post production was created on a Macintosh G5 Dual 2.3 GHz PowerPC running Mac OSX 10.5.8
