@InterpolNYCares that guy is an idiot! you can also tell from his hair defintely from the totbl era.
-
those are paiste signature cymbals, more than suitable "to record an album"
-
what song is that?
i know its not a released interpol song, but at the start of the recording you can hear that sam is listening to something at the start, sounds like interpol guitaring
but I cant make it out....

This video is from 2006. It's NOT from Turn on the bright lights tour, it's from Oslo (California band) recording session for their album called "The Rise and Fall of Love and Hate" , they released it in late 2007. Sam plays plays drums on "A Darker Shade" and "Things Fall Apart". He also co-produced this album. And yeah, he had long hair in 2006.

@Gehain you're friend from him? I think there is no chance this is from 2006, he used this "emo" hair only in TOTBL tour, especially in 2003. but if you have another video or pic to prove this is from 2006, I can maybe believe.

@Gehain
maybe you can really be right, but I don't know, I always thought this was from 2003, I don't have notice that Samuel used this "emo hair" on pause between Antics and OLTA. anyway, thanks a lot for the links.

This is NOT from interpol. I play drums, and those are brass cymbls, not used to record an album

if you don't know samuel and interpol don't say anything, it's from turn on the bright lights tour, between 2002 and 2003, it's just a demonstration on drums, nothing in special or with the interpol's sound, see the video with more clarity if you have doubt. he plays with the drummstick inverted, since when played with your old punk band, the holy terrors. thanks.
