Man, does this ever look familiar...I think I may have played this or something very similar to it when I was a kid.

It was probably Saturday Night Slam Masters; this just happens to be the sequel to that game.

@gigantos2: Agreed. Capcom could hook up with Yuke's and make a new Slam Masters game like Yuke's did with thw WWE Smackdown games, or they could go for a less realistic route and use the same engine they did to make Street Fighter 4 with.

As Slam Masters is in the SF canon, this would make Widow, at 6'6" and 209 lbs, the largest female in the Street Fighter universe, and even a solid rival size-wise for some of the men, too.

I didn't like this too much. it doesn't actually look bad, mind, but the fun in the first Slam Masters was that it was straight-up wrestling, with everything wrestling's supposed to have.

this one's just your average 2D fighter in a wrestling package, and it feels like it's pretending to be something it's not.

@ChaosWolf1982: From what I can see, the only ting linking this game series to the Street Fighter canon is the presence of Mike Haggar. To be fair, Capcom exaggerates the heights and weights of its characters, and she looks about 6'2" to me.

@HolyObliteration: Black Widow really IS a woman. Her outfit makes her appear androgynous (although if you look at the character's sprite during gameplay, you can tell she is a REALLY sculpted woman), in her ending, she loses the oufit and reveals herself to be big, sculpted brunette with a ponytail wearing a skimpy late '80s/early '90s workout outift.
