it's even worse: the omnia displays its native resolution, that is to say 400x240, but i's now a device from the past, look at the date of this video, I've had two other PPC since and have an HTC HD2 now ^^
The problem is you can't get HD with a standard composite cable. You need a component cable, or else you are no better off than using a little ten inch fifty pound television from 1970. Sorry!
start with morphgear, esay to use, and you can play supernes for free, so easy to find on google or XDAdevelopers website (where you'll find everything for your touch pro! )
Fpsece is free too, but much harder to use at first.
PM me if you can't find what you're looking for or have difficulties in using it.
That is a good point there. There are usually better variations or good alternatives for Windows from the Windows Mobile platform.
Hopefully I'll be getting my Omnia fixed here shortly (needs a JTAG fix - oh boy) and then I can enjoy all these fun looking emulators and games.

try to play FpseCE or openGL ES games with it, it doesn't work for me. But I don't really get the point of playing windows mobile games on a PC^^
There's also MyMobiler to get the screen of the PPC on the PC, but same problem, games are really slow or black screen, sreaming is not fast enough

That is right. Unless you want to play Windows Mobile games on Normal Windows, which is what he wanted to do, coincidentally.

it is used to emulate a Smartphone on a PC, useful for developpers, useless for gamers

in terms of power, the omnia 1 is old (624mhz cpu and 256Mo ram......). I had mine in 2008

The Windows Mobile Device Emulator is available on the Microsoft official website.

Its not that old. What, 2009ish is old? I mean, it isn't cutting edge, but it looks pretty darn cool.
