What needs to happen people
All land must be nationaized.
Meaning all that very expensive Hawaii property cannot be bought or sold.
That wil take a Revolution.
Imagine what Hawaii could be for America, and for the world.

@Chumandoo3 Nah, wait a while, we need the delegates to keep Republicans out of the white house, house and senate in the next election.

Been to Hawaii five times and as a mainlander absolutely am simpathetic to the plight of the Hawaiian people. Often thought independence would be for the best. It started with missionaries trying to destroy the language and culture, the imprisonment of Queen Lili'uokalani is something all americans should be ashamed of, but that all happened before statehood, and many indeps like Haiti are a disaster. So better alone? I'm not sure.
I am Hawaiian and find that to blame all haoles is wrong. To wish them off our islands is wrong. There is no Aloha in that and it is racist. Hawaiians are not racists. To fight for our rights, our history, our culture and our lands is right but we must do it this in a civil way. The USA will not let us seperate from the Union and so we must find ways to work together in peace. One day Hawai'i will be Free. But, today is not that day. Today, we are both Hawaiian and American.
