@Philinspaces 1. It was not lawful because the chancellor did not authorize it. 2. This is the more important difference in our opinion: You believe that because something is lawful it's automatically all right. I believe there is a very distinct difference between what is right and what is lawful. 3. "The point" of this particular non-violent resistance was, as we've pointed out, to protest rising tuition, not publicity. The attack brought more publicity, but that was not "the point".
