I wonder how many of these hipsters, emo's, punks, fashionistas, or whatever, actually know what happened back than. I'm 23 years old and I feel bothered by so much ignorance and lack of knowledge of this part of history that changed the world.

@eo227 don't be silly, they're too busy trying to get their names in the papers for more money and fame. Give them 5 minutes on the Front before they turn into whimpering wrecks.

Very inappropriate to have that ad at the front of this video...

Che870 isboth! an IRA supporter and a hysterical anti British hater! he is well ballanced indvidual as he has chips on both shoulders, glad to see though that the owner of this upload has treated his remarks with the contempt they deserve and deleted them.!
Perhaps now he will crawl back under the stone/bog that he came from!

British, American, French, Canadian, Australian, Belgian, even German... all of Western European stock--did we not all stand at attention and salute when first we saw this? God bless Harry Patch and all his comrades--and God have mercy on us all. Pray for us, fallen heroes.

0.58 Marcus Trescothick. Nice to see him pay respect, maybe some of our better paid footballers could learn a thing or two from our veterans (I know it's clichéd, but still)...
why the hell is michael jackson's funeral getting more press than harry's?!

How wonderful that two soldiers of the French, Belgian AND German armies were in attendance. Mr. Harry Patch you should be remembered as a true example of how peace and reconciliation can happen on an individual level. For someone of my generation, having a German at my funeral would not have much meaning as I only know them as friends. For you, having seeing your comrades being killed by German bullets & artillery all around you, this took enormous courage. Peace can prevail.
