Sarah Kazimer - Girl Hockey Goalie - Off Season On-Ice Training at Rick Heinz Elite Goalie Camp

**NOTE** -- If the shots look a little slow, they're not :) They're shots from AHL players.
After just turning 16, I went to the Rick Heinz goalie camp. I attended the elite camp designed for Bantam AAA and up and was the only female of 5 goalies. You can see in the video as time passes, I am improving. I feel as though I've matured greatly regarding my technique and my anger. The coaches there, including my private coach Tim Fewster, are great helping you through your rough spots and drill you until you get it down. I can't wait for next year.

Just wondering though are there any like professional Canadian womens hockey leagues? Cause once I pass college hockey I want to play proffesional womens hockey or just a high ranked womens hockey league.

@KeybladeMaster035 Well most universities only choose goalies at Midget AA or senior AAA (girls equivalent of junior hockey) levels but I believe out west in Canada there is a professional women's league but you only get payed enough to support your family, no million dollar pay checks.

@TheeGoalie This is not a Canadian hockey camp but it's called Elite Hockey Training Centers staged in either Vermont or New Hampshire in the USA. Those two states are right under Quebec, Canada. It's a summer camp and I go their from Florida and it's the best camp ever. You'd really enjoy it. Theres female camp and boys camps and the females is fast paced and you are worked just as hard as the boys on and off ice. It's a sleepaway camp for either 1 week or 2 weeks. Your glove hand is killing me. Instead of turning your body back towards the net to catch the puck, try reaching out in front of your body. Its easier to track the puck that way too. Your movement in the net seems kind of lethargic and uninspired. You definitely have potential though. Just keep working on your fundamentals and movement. Just have fun out there and play hard. You might end up playing at the Collegiate level. What I've seen from this video your not quite AAA or A material yet.

I'm a girl goalie from New Zealand, I'm 15 turning 16 in march next year, i got the best stats at nationals this year in open womens and in U16s and I'm really keen to find a goalie camp in Canada i can go to next year, hoping for a scholarship to go overseas eventually, any recommendations on a camp that would be good to go to for someone coming over from overseas for a week or two?
