Nach fast 5 Wochen Sterbebegleitung meiner Mutter in der Fremde habe ich eines ihr Lieblingslieder wieder an meinem Rieseklavier gespielt - und das forte. Sie sollte es im Himmel auch hören. Beerdigung erst 36 Stunden her. Das Lied hätte zu ihr gepasst oder passt tatsächlich zu ihr. Als ich in die Heimat zurückkehrte, regnete es. Ihre Legende wird immer Leben, nicht nur für mich als Tochter.

Elton John ist wirklich ein großartiger Künstler, wegen Diana hat er sein Lied umgeschrieben, er konnte den Schmerz in Worte fassen. Dafür bleibt Diana uns in Erinnerung und weil sie auch so viel für die armen Menschen gemacht hat.

Hab das Lied für meine Oma umgeschrieben. Schade, dass noch niemand so eine "neutrale" Version eingesungen hat, die nicht inhaltlich an eine bestimmte person gebunden ist.
