Zach Wahls Speaks About Family

Zach Wahls, a 19-year-old University of Iowa student spoke about the strength of his family during a public forum on House Joint Resolution 6 in the Iowa House of Representatives. Wahls has two mothers, and came to oppose House Joint Resolution 6 which would end civil unions in Iowa.

Your comment assumes that we are all homosexual deep down and all we need is society's approval we'll all "come out." I'm not sure about you, but a law won't change my sexual preference. We're not talking about forcing everyone to condone homosexuality (although I certainly do), we are talking about giving them the same rights as everyone else. And I understand it's hard to believe I can have an extremely full heart by -NOT- being able to answer that question! It's inspiring! Trying to find out what's REALLY happening, by knowing that we DON'T know yet.

Wow... that was really good... There is soooooo much stigma and prejudice against the gay culture due to the fact that a bunch of homophobic breeders can't understand that the world is not as black and white as they would have preferred it to be... Some dudes marry dudes! deal with it. It doesn't change the fact that they love each other! I have seen, as a social worker, more positive relationships between same sex couples than those of opposite sex including the bond they have with their kids!!

Your arguments are extraordinarily stupid. First off: A marriage contract is not a natural thing and therefore can be amended at any point to include a broader definition. Second: The point of everyone becoming homosexual, grow up you moron. Just because we give everyone the right to be married doesn't mean everyone is going to become homosexual. YOu're ignorant. And in 10,50,100 is not the way to right a number, it would be 1,050,000. And in that time, the ignorant people of this generation who believe homosexual marriage would be a hindrance to society(including you) and myself would all be dead so that does not matter to me.

please think outside the box on this issue, think ahead instead of think what is in front of you and what is presenting to you. If you think ahead, this major decision will soon change and evolve as time passes and sooner or later, more and more homosexual will come out or exist. What is going to happen from 10,50,100 years from now? what if one day, homosexual dominates this world or the society? our human race will not produce anymore through reproducing.
