Citi Philippines Microentrepreneur of the Year for 2008 - National Awardee - Masikap Category 2008

Estela Lagunzad (National Awardee - Masikap Category, 2008 Citi MOTY Awards): Client of the Rural Bank of Dulag (RB Dulag); used to sell cosmetics to add to the family income and her husband's pay as a security guard; used initial loan of PhP15,000 from RB Dulag to increase inventory and put up a carinderia (small eatery); bought an electric guitar for her son with her fourth loan and encouraged her children to form a musical band since all of them are musically inclined; the band now performs during local events; started business of producing caps for nursing student last year; was able to buy a 3-hectare farmland and now employs 20 people.
