Crystal Wolf Speed Paint

This is a speed paint I made just because I was inspired! xD My favorite part is the glowing markings, and the crystals on the ground. Also, the rippling water under his front paws. That was a Photoshop "cheat" I learned while sitting on the floor in the middle of an aisle at a bookstore! lol

Anyway, not really sure who this is. I haven't named him or anything... but I really want to test out more of the awesome glowing effect I recently learned about.

im sorry to ask ( i normally hate people asking me lol) but what brush did you use for the glow effect? or is it involved with the opacity?

lol. Normally I do to, but I think it matters on how they ask the question xD I don't mind answering this one.

For the glowing, I used a very soft-edge brush. My picture was... I think 1000x800px, so if memory serves me right it was around 35-45 sized brush. I didn't lower the opacity or anything. Check out my glow effect tutorial, it might help =]

It's beautiful! He's SO FLUFFY! Except I kind of think his neck seems TOO fluffy. I mean, it kinda looks fat. I like the colors and the background is gorgeous :). You're very talented :). But something bout this drawing seems a little stiff...maybe it's the eyes. The eyes don't really have much emotion here, they seem a little blank. I'm real big on emotional eyes :).

But, it's still pretty great. His little markings are glowing :). AND THE CRYSTALS TOO!
