**READ BEFORE YOU ASK QUESTIONS**

Thanks to everyone who is backing me up!!!

this is a long story, so if you ask a question that is in here then I will ask you to read this instead of answering your question.

Well, as you all probably know, Angel is for sale. We sent her to a barn in Florida that sells horses and she was there since Thanksgiving Break. There were three people interested in her. One was a friend of ours, but either the price was raised too high or they found another horse. (we dont know what the true story is) Another almost bought her, but when they took her to a show Angel got excited and the girl got scared and never went into the ring. Another lady liked her, but I think Angel got a little moody or something and she decided not to get her.

Since show season is coming in Florida, the barn she was at was getting a lot of people coming done to board their horses there and train during HITS, so there is no room for Angel. The guy wanted to send her back, but since she was already down there my dad and I decided to go down and show her. Well, obviously the show went AMAZING! We won the Level 2 out of 50, got second in the 1st High Children's out of 25, won the last High Children's out of 30, and got 6th in the classic out of 32. During the first round it had started drizzling, but in the jump off it was pouring! I was soaked through all my clothes, my saddle stained my white pants pink, Angel was dripping, and when we tripped after the sunflower jump she threw a shoe. I'm not sure whether she tripped because the shoe came off or the shoe came off because she tripped... Also, we got Reserve Champion and we missed the class on Thursday. I hadn't ridden her in almost 3 months and just got off an airplane at 10pm the night before, Angel didn't get to the show til 11am Friday morning.

But even after all that, no one wanted to buy her. We have some friends that bought my old pony that might be interested because the girl is ready for a jumper, and then a girl at my barn might want to try her, but it is unlikely that they will buy her. Right now Angel will either be shipped to our friends in Florida/Texas, wherever they want her to go or she will be shipped back to us. We aren't sure right now what will happen, but I'll let you know what the decision is.

Oh. No, you are not going crazy, I did show in 3 different rings during the show.

I don't own the songs, blah blah blah...

  • How many people were in your class?

    Is the compition hard there?

    thanks:)

  • @autochanges in the open there was about 50, in the childrens there was between 20 and 30.

yeah i guess it was hard, i had a rail and it put me out of ribbons. lots of good riders and horses, but i would say like a normal A show, just maybe more people

  • thanks! yeah, what would you like to know?

  • Nice! I love a spunky jumper. You rode her well, she could move up into a higher division. Have you tried that? It is quite possible that for some youth riders she maybe a bit strong & that could hurt a sale. So try her in a different category. Your speed is perfect, keep it up. She is a nice girl. Give her a kiss from me. That is if you still have her.

  • @ProShowJumper thank you! she used to do mini prixs and all those when she was younger, but shes 18 now, 17 in the video, so shes not that clean after 3'9".I've jumped her 4'6", and we did 4'3" frequently, but to show at that height is just asking a little too much from her now.

  • I think your having trouble selling her, because i can tell your mare is difficult to ride. BUT, let me tell you, that you ride her fantasticly!!!!!!!!! The selling problem is that your mare can easily intimidate a rider because she's so athletic/hot and she also looks like she has an opinion lol. Riders want a comfortable, rythmical and easy ride but you will be the one that can ride anything. She needs someone with just as much balls as you do lol.

  • thanks. shes really not hard but everyone thinks that because shes hot. shes 17 and knows her job very well. but i did find someone to buy her
