  • were i was meant to solder i burnt the motherboard?

  • @SuperUKgaming this was awhile ago, my xbox is working just fine now, but thank you for your help!

  • @chuba0603 try changing your powerpack cable bro :) sub me if it helped?

  • If you dont have a soldering gun or just to scared to solder on to your baby ;) You can just hot glue the wire right on to the spot, yes there is more of a chance of this falling off but just put a load of glue on and then put a strip of electricle tape over it. You never have to solder hope this helps :D

  • @onthemark2011 If really doesnt matter about your solder you use. and for desoldering I recommend using a desolder pump, googlea solder pump much more useful and doesnt ware out

  • @chuba0603 Look to see if there is a either blown/bulged capcitator or a blown resistor. If it is resistor there may be some black ash stuff around it. When you find the resistor or capcitator desolder it and see if you can salvage a new one from old electronics you might have laying around, if not buy new one online. then just solder it in. This happened to my xbox but this fixed it.

    Good luck ;)

  • Great video! I want to give this a shot but I am really bad with soldering. I have an iron and everything but I don't know much else. What type of solder should I get? And do I need to desolder anything? If so, what type of desoldering braid do I need? I appreciate any help you can give me.

  • @thedopesoner930 alright, thanks!
