@civreal is it so hard to understand, that "I was sittin next to the drummer while recording this piece...?" This mass had a very special meaning, took place in a very strange circumstances and people gathered in the church were sittin very close to the orchestra. so did I. It's only a live recordnig and has rather symbolic than artistic message.

Featuring the biggest timpani in the world. In all seriousness though, one of my favorite aspects of Dies Irae is how effectively Mozart uses the timpani in it, so it's nice to find a recording where the timpani is so prominent. Thanks! Also, where did you find those images of the autograph score?
