On 25 March 2000, an organisation called Classic Rail Tours chartered J515 and a train from the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre to run a trip from Seymour to Geelong and return. The train stopped at several stations between Seymour and Broadmeadows which meant it was a relatively easy chase along that section.

J515 is currently located at the Victorian Goldfields Railway at Maldon on loan from SRHC
