A 360 degree view of the location of Bobby Sands, MP's Grave in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our Black Cab Tour driver took us there after one of the girls on our trip expressed interest in it. Sorry if the commentary is a little annoying; i tend to wax poetic at inappropriate times. Enjoy, and please, leave the political commentary out of it; this was just a trip to a grave.

  • It's Éire not 'Northern Ireland', may you rest in peace Bobby. Ireland for the Irish, Brits out.

  • nationalists who lived in the north were treated as second class citizens and were put in slums because they were catholic(most of them) and the mainly protestent loyalists wanted to mantain power by making it near impossible for nationalists to own their own homes thus denying them the right to vote.

The south freestate bastards sold the south out and left them to rot.

The PIRA was formed after the Oficials failed to protect nationalists from loyalist mobs and the rest is history

  • It wasn't just a wee trip to a grave ...That is the grave belonging to one of the most highly respected republicans that died for freedom ...He will always be in our hearts

R.I.P Comrade you will always be with us in this fight for freedom

  • Very good comments above, well said, you tell it how it was, for some in Ireland who have known boycott and prejudice, and social injustice !

  • sorry for insulting you on my comment man, just because your government is an imperialist piece of shit does not mean you are a fan of imperialism.

And yeah sectarianism is a big problem in ireland, but the conflict is not over religeon, it is over the fact that Ireland was Britains first empire, and when it was colonized catholic nationalists were kicked off their land and it was given to british settlers, the IRA drove the brits out of the south but the north was partitioned
