A Jemi Story-Chapter 10- "Sneaky Brothers..."



Joe- I was just walking down the hall when I heard Nick's phone ring.I looked in his room,he wasn't in there. I grinned.I snuck in there and picked up his phone.I looked at the screen and it said new message from Selena.
Oh man! He's texting Selena! I can't believe he doesn't have his phone with him.Me and Kevin both know he likes her, he just wouldn't admit it. And it was so obvious that he did, whenever he heard her name his face would turn red, I thought it was funny.
My thoughts were interupted when I heard someone coming down the hall.So I jumped on the bed and tried to look casual, like I was supposed to be there.
It was Nick.He walked in and saw me sitting there and his eyes went straight to his phone in my hand.He frowned.
"You got a text from Selena, want me to read it to you?" I asked, grinning.
He just stood there for a second, glaring at me.
"Give me that!" He yelled, and lunged at me.
Next thing I knew I was on the floor with Nick on top of me and he was beating me with a pillow.This was happening way too often, I thought.But I couldn't resist teasing him, it was just too easy sometimes.He beat me with the pillow for a good five minutes, with me still hanging on to the phone somehow.I finally gave in and gave him his phone,
"Thank you." he said, still sitting on me.
"Uh Nick?" I said.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Can you get off of me now?"I asked, he was kinda heavy, plus he was sitting on my stomach,I groaned.
"No." he said, grinning down at me.
"Nick!!" I groaned again,"Please?"I asked, looking at him with, what I hoped was a sad puppy dog face.
"Ok fine." he said, laughing at my horrible attempt at a sad puppy face.
He got off of me and stood up, and I got up too. He looked at his phone and opened the text,he was smiling. He didn't know I was looking over his shoulder reading it. I couldn't resist. It said,
"No of course not, what gave you that idea?" and she put a little smiley with a tongue sticking out.
I moved back quickly before he saw me there, and sat down on the bed.
"So what'd she say?" I asked casually, pretending I hadn't just read it.
"Nothing." He said, looking up from his phone.
Liar, I thought,but I didn't say it out loud cuz I knew i'd probably get pummeled with a pillow again.But I know that text didn't look like nothing, especially since it was from Selena.But I knew he wouldn't be telling me what they were talking about.
He was staring at me with one eyebrow raised.I stared back.I broke the stare-off by looking away and I got up and walked to the door.
"Oh hey, you got a text from Demi, I was walking past your room and heard your phone ring. I sent her a text back and said you were in the bathroom and couldn't talk."Nick said, as I was walking out.
I spun around so fast I almost fell over.
He looked serious.
He can't be serious, I thought.
Then all the sudden he grinned real big and starting laughing,
"Hahaha! You should've seen your face. Oh man, that was great."he said, managing to talk while he was laughing.
He wiped the tears from his eyes, yeah he was laughing that hard.
"Dude! Don't do that! I thought you were serious!"I said, breathing kinda hard.
I really had thought he was serious, my heart was pounding.
"Thats what you get for coming in here and looking at my phone. Now we're even." He said, grinning at me.
I smiled, he made a good point.
"Fine, we're even. But don't ever do that too me again. I bout had a heartattack."I said, pretending to glare at him.
"I can't make any promises." He said, smiling.
Ugh, little brothers, I thought with a smile....

There it is!! Sorry its been so long since i put up the last chapter, or at least its felt long to me. LOL! So I hope you like it!! And I want 15 comments this time! I know you probably hate me now, but ya'll can do it! I know you can! tell your friends!
