I always thought this Joni Sledge written song was great even when it first came out. It's unfortunate that American radio couldn't or wouldn't play music outside the box that didn't fit into the mold of that pop oriented formula. Great song nevertheless.

I agree with you about American radio. Yes, I bought this album when it was first released and this song stood out for me. Honestly though, I'm biased. I love Joni. Her voice is so sexy and smooth.
