Yeah that's pretty incredible. I've seen primus live a few times, but it's still neat to see played up close. Well done.

Guh, I wish I could play like this. Or at least learn stuff by ear. I'm tone deaf.
How long have you been playing?

@JosephGraysure Thanks for the comment man - been playing 25 years.

left handed? or is this some wierd camcorder distortion..??
P.S. what/where is/did you get that bass from? it's like a stingray jazz!

@Suddiefats yes I am LH - that bass is a Yamaha BBN4L. I picked it up used for like $200 - never seen another like it tho, except online.

@Mr5stringBob mint, there are just too few of us leftys.. in this video the bass sound like it could do some damage! do you think putting jazz pick ups in a stingray would produce the same sorta tones?
Suddiefats 1 year ago
@Suddiefats Probably - depends on the placement of the pickups. I believe the farther apart they are, the more variance in tone you get. I only used the bridge p/u on this one; seems to me thats what Les does quite a bit. It gets a lot fuller when you use both. Look for my vid "left hand slap bass" to hear it with both pickups. Very different.
