@jollyholly I'm sure anyone would agree that standing up and doing/landing an air takes considerably more skill than laying down. Plus, all of my friends can land the airs they "punt", including me.

cali has a few other wedges within 30 minutes of each other on PCH. the newport one is famous because it was the first one to be called a wedge wave and it does get fucking big and really fun at times.

Personally im a sponger and i respect surfers and I admire this wave but why would they want to go to Nigeria? That is one hectic country. But its cool. Indo and Hawaii are the main spots for me.
