http://www.ntv.co.ke The government is appealing to people living near the railway line to look for settlement elsewhere. Transport Permanent Secretary Dr. Cyrus Njiru says this is the only means by which the government can achieve its goal of expanding the reach of railway commuter services in the Greater Nairobi metropolis. The government is already undertaking a feasibility study into that project whose commencement is slated for 2012.
We need the railway land back. those people occupying the railway land are all aware that the land does not belong to them. we need trains if possible electric trains especially from jkia to the city centre. people who take kenya back are idiots who have never visited 1st world coutries to see how things work. surely, if somebody grabbed railway land or KAA land and its obvious, why should we have mercy on them? we nee development and grabbers are the cause of undevelopment

siasa did u see that clip where Oburu while in a meeting in Kibera was praising the youths there saying that they are the strongest in kenya cos they can uproot a railway line. such words coming from a leader were shameful. how can we develop when idiots like that go praising thugs for destroying state properties.
