Obama is far from perfect- no president is but he is, in my view a much better option than any of the GOP field.

Ron Paul fans have nothing whatsoever to say about his silence in the face of repression. Ron Paul wants to be friends with a regime that hangs homosexuals and stones women. They should watch the videos of young Iranians being beaten by Basij thugs before they suggest the US is friends with that regime.

Obama extended provisions of the U.S. Patriot Act (which undermines the 4th Amendment rights of Americans), and THEN, embarrassingly on DECEMBER 15th (Bill of Rights Day) - he signed into law Section 1031 of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) undermining the 5th Amendment rights, allowing indefinite detainment of US Citizens.
