  • If you prefer drummers who stick to grooves more than Ari, that's perfectly legitimate. But Ari's playing appeals to those who view the drummer's role as less groove-oriented and more about dialogue with the soloist.

    I think it's hard to say he's insensitive after listening to his records. It's the recording quality here.

    Doesn't take any risks? Have you heard him play a 15/16 songo while the rest of the group is in 5/4 (rapscallion cattle on inversations). I'd say that's a risk

  • i think that ari's sound quality is absolutely incredible in first hand, second of all for ari the drums aren't like a "supporting part" it's part of the music, his makes drumming part of an indispensible part of the song
