I gotcha. yea that's definitely plenty of time to make a good shot and shoot up to a shallow depth to fight em. My deepest dive was 185ft and I shot a 15lbs Red Snapper but I dont know if I feel safe shooting a big AJ at that depth. I think I'm gonna make it a personal goal to not geaux below 150ft from now on, that is until I get more comfortable with it.

Gotcha. One more question, How long did you have on your dive computer at 170ft before DECO?
