My new V8 TDI Touareg. Testing 0-100 km/h. ESP off, Air suspension on sport. Slight brake before full throttle. This transmission doesn't have launch control. With some more playing around, I could lower the time a few tenths, probably close to the specs for the car, 5,8 that is. My best is 6.4 sec.

Btw, be sure to check my YouTube channel in a few months when I've put some more miles on the car. I'll be tuning it to somewhere around 400hp/900nm, and probably ask someone to manufacture less air restrictive end plumbing for more acustics both inside and outside of the car.

my cerato consumes 67 l\100km in full throttle :D

  • You are only driven 842 km. Only after 1000 km, the engine's full power. This is a protection from the VW factory. Best regards from Baunatal :-)

  • 0-120 km/h

  • @r1swedie BAHAHAAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I read one magazine & they counted 5.8 sec 0-100 kmh...

  • Pulls hard down low. Looks like it slowed down a little in 3rd though. Nice car! Gotta love torque.

  • @amird128 In short, we have less choice because of leftist politicians getting in the way... nice.

  • @USA4July1776 Higher emission standards, and cost. V6 still badass.

  • i love how the computer tells you it uses 1.4 L to idle for an hour...

  • They don't sell the V8 TDI in the US... only the V6 TDI... WHY!?
