John! Your videos are fantastic! I tried doing a Brubeck version of this song you would appreciate (and be capable of finishing!). I called it "We Five Kings" in the style of "Take Five." See media.garone.org/AnthonyGarone

Great arrangement- a very 'Princely' We Three Kings. The opening riff reminds me of the standard "Stolen Moments".
The overall approach also seemed very much in the Dave Brubeck/Cool Jazz vein of playing.

How do you record your playing? nice style ...

@SoundInHD Well, it's complicated. I have a couple of Shure SM57's which I position in the piano on boom stands. Then there's the sound from the camera(s). Lastly, the piano is a Yamaha Disklavier and I record the performance as MIDI. I use a Bösendorfer sound sample for playback. These various sources are used to sync the video. The final sound you hear is usually a combination of the live miked sound and the Bösendorfer. Are you sorry you asked? ha ha....
